YIKES I hope these guys Cook the food on solid gold stoves, I heard so many good things about this place but the prices YIKES never ordering here again if you have the cash to blow go ahead not knocking the food but I'll go do some food shopping instead

Beautiful place, lovely ambience. We were not expecting it to stand out like this from the outside. It seemed like a little Mom and Pop from outside. But once we went inside, hot damn! Our server was very nice and courteous. They serve complimentary salsa and chips. Oooh, do try their pico de gallo; it's a unique preparation the likes of which I haven't eaten before. Oh and the margaritas you can't go there and not have the spicy margarita. I will be back when I'm in the area.

Food was good, service was slow. Server didn't come back to ask if we wanted more drinks. Had to ask another server.

Fantastic food and great customer service!!!When we arrived we were seated quickly, the menu was easy to read and full of possibilities. Each of use ordered something a little different to get a good idea of what they had, sense it was our first time visiting. We where not disappointed. This will be a place to visit for great authentic Mexican food in the future.

Loved the food! Super tasty, presumably authentic, and very cheap for the serving size. The ambiance is great though a tiny bit cramped. It's an amazing place to bring your friends or a low-key date! The place does get busy in the evenings though so it's wise to reserve a table and then wait for your food for a tiny bit.The waitstaff is spectacular, hilarious, and amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Huge portions, modestly priced. Above average flavor and with friendly service. Drinks were average and acceptable, but a but pricey for the size.

I love italos!! My favorite dish is their tinga chimichanga. Their coconut margarita is everything I hoped it would be; creamy, just sweet enough & a hint of spice, will definitely order again soon 🥥🍹

Very tasty! I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now, and I'm glad I did. The staff is very friendly, there wasn't a wait to be seated when I was there, the food is good, and their prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be going back!

literally my favorite restaurant. their prices are amazing for the portion sizes they give. I know I will always get 2 meals out of whatever I order. the staff is SO friendly. they recognize my family when we go in there now. the best part of all, is the authentic food!!!! I usually order the ground beef chimichanga & fried ice cream for dessert, but most things I have ordered are great. I always recommend Italo's to all of my friends! you definitely won't be disappointed.

Not very good. Weird place only green sauce on the table. Asked for hot sauce? Never got it. Chips are tough. Most Mexican places you get refried beans & rice. Or sour cream with a burrito. Here you get nothing, a dry burrito on a plate.

The best and tradicional Mexican food all around Scranton PA. We came from the Bronx. Believe me it’s so worth it! Lovely people, nice and family atmosphere! Also the drinks are amazing! Try it and let me know!

The atmosphere gives a great Mexican vibe. The food is excellent. This is the Aztec Bowl for two. Nothing here I don't like.

I have eaten here many time for many years. Food is always consistently good. Portions are large so I suggest sharing or take food home. The service is very friendly and it's a very welcoming atmosphere.I highly recommend this place. It's always a pleasure to go there and eat.

I was recently here to try some tacos. Beef and chicken, onion, cilantro, side of like and hot sauce. Seems simple enough right? I was so disappointed. The meat was cheap and had zero flavor. The onion and cilantro weren't even warmed, just thrown on raw. The shells were good and they give you two per taco so that's nice. I wont be back tho. Sorry.

This was very good Authentic Mexican food. Small quaint little place. If you're used to Scranton you're used to parking on the street because they don't have parking for the place. All food was cooked fresh & everything I had was delicious. Staff was friendly, helpful, quick service. I really enjoyed it.

Authentic mexican food. Very good food. Wait was a bit long for food but it's always busy. They cater to vegetarian which was great. Will return over and over.

Always the most delicious food!! Always fresh and very flavorful. Service is friendly, can be a little slow (and forgot a few things several times) but nothing too serious or that wasn't corrected right away. Ordered the Shrimp Tacos Clari. Menu showed $11 for 4 with your choice of meat, but I was served 3 tacos and was told that's how many came with shrimp as the meat (no real mention of this on the menu) The shrimp cocktail was a little spicier than normal, but still delicious nonetheless. Love that this is an authentic restaurant in my local neighborhood, we try to visit at least once a month.

Very attentive. Service was excellent. The portions are the largest I have ever had at any restaurant. You will definitely need a to go box, or possibly share.

Honestly, one of the worst steak tacos I've ever had. The meat was very, very chewy and undercooked. Had no flavor and their cilantro was not fresh. I love tacos and am not picky whatsoever, but this just wasn't edible. Sorry. :( if you're looking for good authentic tacos , Hacienda Volcan a bit further up Pittston Ave has comparable prices and is great.

Best Mexican food anywhere. The burritos are enormous. And the Aztec Bowl is amazing.

The margaritas here are wonderful - the lime is my go-to but the peach is rimmed with sugar and also a great choice. All the entrees are wildly affordable and large enough for dinner and a snack later on. The burritos are the size of a small child and they are very tasty. It starts to get busy around 6pm on weeknights so definitely call ahead. Street parking only.

The food can't be beat. The guac is perfection. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is comfortable. This is now our very favorite restaurant. This is a hidden gem!

The food was incredible and the staff were very good! Willing to help explain the menu and even get us stuff not on the menu. The neighborhood was a little sketchy being from out of town but everything worked out fine. Definately go again!

Arrived with a group of 6,and was immediately seated. Upon seating, we were offered 3 baskets of chips with their homemade Pico de gallo. I ordered a side of the spicy guacamole which was really good, but it came with it's own chips. It was chips galore at our table haha. For the main course, I ordered Mexican steak, which came with rice and beans. It was relatively hot and spicy because of the poblano peppers, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Probably the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Scranton! Excellent quality and quantity!

Excellent Mexican food!This small but adequate restaurant was steadily busy for a Sunday night.4 meals and 1 fried ice cream (not including tip) was just about $50.We had steak enchiladas, steak/chicken fajitas, steak burrito, steak tostadas, and fried ice cream that we shared. All of it was delicious, filling, and decent to large servings. The waitress checked in appropriately, was friendly, and helpful. We definately recommend this restaurant and will come back again.

I have been a loyal customer to this establishment, but that changed this evening! I had a dispute over my bill. After waiting a long period of time for the manager to come address my complaint. Finally he came over and agreed to take $2.50 off the bill. Agreed being the key word. Now $2.50 is not a lot of money, but anyway....he handed me back my bill with the same end amount merely only changing around the amounts on top. Thinking I can’t add??? When I went to tell him, he did nothing but rearrange the amounts and went against what he agreed upon and said, “it’s fine, just don’t come back” knowing he lied and only rearranged amounts ..integrity and respect they lack for loyal customers. We are the ppl that keep them in business yet he simply said it’s fine don’t come back. So I simply say to anyone reading this..DO NOT GIVE THESE PPL YOUR MONEY TO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS!!!
